Tracenet system has won the eAsia award for Bridging Digital Divide at the eAsia Awards ceremony.
TraceNet is an internet based electronic service offered by APEDA to the stakeholders for facilitating process certification for export of organic products from India complying with the NPOP and NOP standards. TraceNet collects, stores and reports - forward and backward traces and quality assuranceof data entered by the operators / producer groups and certification bodies within the organic supply chain in India.
The eAsia awards are administered by the Asia Pacific Council for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (AFACT), set up under the aegis of the United Nations.

GrapeNet Traceability System has won the eAsia Award for ensuring that India’s export of grapes conform to European Union’s pesticides residue norm. GrapeNet has put in system for monitoring pesticide residue, achieve product standardization and facilitate tracking back from retail shelves to the farm of the Indian grower, through the various stages of sampling, testing, certification and packing.

In the 11th National Conference on e-Governance, the Government of India announced the awards for excellence in implementation of e-Governance initiatives in the country for year 2007-08.
